Important Notes for Nicaragua Visa

Travelers should be prepared to present the following documents to immigration authorities:

  • A valid passport: Your passport must have a minimum of six months of validity remaining from your date of entry and at least one blank page for the visa stamp.

  • Proof of onward or return travel: You must show a confirmed airline ticket demonstrating your departure from Nicaragua.

  • Proof of accommodation: A confirmed hotel booking or a letter of invitation from a host in Nicaragua is required.

  • Proof of sufficient funds: You may be asked to show evidence of having adequate financial resources to cover your stay.

Note : Always confirm with airline if more documents may needed.

As a word of caution, some airlines operating from Indian airports may object to boarding passengers who do not have any recent international travel history, as indicated by previous exit or entry seals in their passports. This is a security concern issued by the Indian airlines themselves. However, upon arrival at Nicaraguan entry points, there should be no issues with this travel history.
